Judge Gives Verdict On New Rovers Contract

Alan Judge has committed his immediate future to the Rovers by signing a new contract at the club.

The Irishman has made a first team start in the FA cup match with Blyth Spartans and has been named in the first team squad a few times this season as well.

'I'm very pleased to have been offered a new contract,' he told the club's official website.

'The new manager has already given me a go against Blyth and put me on the bench against Stoke in the Premier League, so it's working well so far.

'I'm very happy here and hopefully I can push on now and get a few more games under my belt.'

Along with Keith Treacy, Alan has been marked out for a bright future with the club and the news of a new deal comes as no suprise.

A promising young star tied down to a new deal. Cant find the bad in this situation eh?

Yeah.. fair play to ya Alan.

I think tying down the youngsters is crucial as it safeguards the future of the club - particularly with all this new rules rules malarky about poaching players.
