Rovers Trivia!!! The Answer

Sasman thought he would start the Trivia with an easy question...but boy was he wrong. Last weeks Trivia Question was

Who has won the most Goal of the Season Awards? (for Blackburn Rovers). The Peter White Memorial Trophy, first awarded in the 2000-2001 season, is awarded to the winner of the Goal of the Season Competition. There have been 6 different winners of the trophy, with

Andy Cole (2002-2003) against Liverpool in the Premier League
Morten Gamst Pedersen (2004-2005) against Burnley in the FA Cup
Steven Reid (2005-2006) against Wigan in the Premier League
Benni McCarthy (2006-2007) against Arsenal in the FA Cup

Of the 6 winners, two players have won it twice,

Damien Duff (2000-2001) against Birmingham in Division 1
Damien Duff (2001-2002) against Ipswich in Premier League

and

Tugay (2003-2004) against Birmingham in the Premier League
Tugay (2007-2008) against Reading in the Premier League

So the correct Answer to this weeks quiz is Damien Duff V Birmingham and Ipswich, and Tugay V Birmingham and Reading.

Lets get it right next time!!!!!
