Manchester United Want Steven Reid

Blackburn Rovers are keen to extend Steven Reid’s current deal at Ewood Park with Manchester United reportedly interested in snatching the Irish midfielder to bolster their lack luster midfield.
Reid has little over a year left on his existing Ewood Park deal, but the Republic of Ireland international has proven himself to be an integral member of Mark Hughes's sixth-placed Rovers.
After overcoming an injury-ravaged first year-and-a-half at the club Reid is now producing high-octane performances on a consistent basis in the heart of Rovers' midfield.
Reid is delighted by the progress made during the past year and hopes to resolve his future shortly.
'There have been a few whispers that Man United have been watching me recently and if that's true then it's nice to hear,' Reid told the Irish Sun.
'I have one year left on my contract so I'd like to sort out my future one way or another soon.

If reid goes to united he will no doubt establish himself as a regular. the competition for places is not great by any means anyway but reid is a good player and I would like nothing mroe than to see him in the fulham side
