Tugay Wants To Stay

Tugay Wants To Stay

Tugay is reported to have been offered a lucrative big-money move to Qatar, with his current deal at Ewood Park due to expire this summer.

The Qatar league has managed to attract many big names in the latter stages of the career such as Argentina's Gabriel Batistuta, ex Chelsea player Frank Lebouef and George Weah. However, Tugay is set to turn the move down in preference of staying in sunny Lancashire.

Tugay's representative Simon Munir told Skysports.

'We're in formal negotiations with Blackburn about a new contract Tugay has an offer to play in Qatar but, although that would be for considerably more money, he would rather finish his career at Blackburn so hopefully we can get things resolved soon.'

I like Tuguy, he is a rock at the back and when he makes himself big he is a difficult player to get past. Let's hope for all our sakes, he stays

If Ruguy doesn't want to stay then him and reid can join Fulham, we would be a top 5 team with them. I think to be fair they want to stay in a developing side and mark hughes is a good manager

Nothing wrong with a bit of Turkish Delight in your team. If he played for Pompey we probably could beat Fulham twice in a season - see if we don't need him come Saturday.
