Peter and Nolan first to go for Rovers

Blackburn Rovers have officially decided to sell 2 players who were both tipped to be part of the future for the club.

Sergio Peter, 22 year old German Midfielder, has finalised a 2 and a half year contract with Sparta Prague for an undisclosed fee.

Eddie Nolan, 20 year old Irish defender, as also bid farwell to Rovers, with Preston making his loan signing a permanent deal. The fee is rumoured to be 6 figures, based on incentives.

Vital Blackburn would like to wish all the best to these 2 lads, and hope they dont become ones that got away.

Some players make it, some dont, unfortunately, Nolan and Peter didnt make the grade, best of luck to them

Peter was always going to go. With Gamst and Treacy ahead of him on the left it didn't really make sense to keep him. Nolan I don't know so much about. Best of luck to both of them though.

I am suprised that Sergio didnt get more of a look in but then I dont see him on a day to day basis. Good luck to Eddie. By all accounts he has doen very well at North End. Good luck to both.

2 highly rated youngsters again depart, at least this time for some cash but its sad as i think we all had hope for Sergio, if for no other reason than the cool name LOL I hoped Nolan wouldve had a chance at Ewood but i guess its not to be. The very best of luck to them and I hope, in the same way I hope for De Vita, that they all show that Rovers made a mistake in releasing them.
