Happy New Year From Vital Blackburn

Happy New Year From Vital Blackburn

On behalf of us all at Vital Blackburn let me be the first to wish everyone at VB a happy and prosperous new year.

2008 has been another great year for this site as we continue to grow in numbers and we have had many memorable moments over the last 12 months.

We had the season end awards with Sasman being crowned VBer of the year, Roque Santa Cruz VB player of the year and Friedel No.1 as the VB newcomer of the season.

We had various season reviews, even I chipped in with a mammoth one!

More and more members have contributed articles which are the centrepiece of how this site works. Members such as Adrian and DiegoVeron have given us some great pieces that keep the site at such a high level.

The work of the journalists will always be there but the members of this site are what keeps it alive and the pieces sumbitted give us various different talking points.

Sadly, we had to lose Roversman as a Vital journalist due to his work commitments. Walker (formerly HDM) I know loved working with Roversman and he has been sorely missed. However, Roversman is still an active member of VB though so we hear from him a plenty!

There are many many more which are worth a mention but I'm not gong to rabbit on too much!

A very happy new year to you all from Sasman, Walker, Bom Bom and myself.

Here's to staving off relegation in 2009.

Happy New Year everyone, and plenty of well spoken words there Mr Mikey. The VBers make this website what it is, the word that Mikey, sasman and BomBom put in really, really do keep this website ticking over as swell, without them Vital Blackburn would be in trouble as I have nowhere near the time I once did.
