Boateng Attacks Savage Cheat

Middlesborough midfielder George Boateng has hit back at Robbie Savage claims that he got him sent-off at the weekend.

The Welshman was given his marching orders for two debatable cautions in the space of three second half minutes and claims Boateng, who was involved in both ncidents, may have swayed referee Chris Foy by calling for a card.

'He cannot accuse anybody in the Premiership of trying to get someone sent off - because that's his game. That's what he's been doing all his career, winding people up and trying to get them sent off.”

I didn't kick him, he kicked me. And the handball, deliberate or not, doesn't matter because it was a ball to a player's feet who would have been in on the back four.”

You can say it's a bit savage but was he trying to FOY the referee.

Savage has had it coming to him for ages and deserves everything he gets
Cookie is god
Savage asked for it when he was at leicester, not so much now, he is awkward but he deserves better than those 2 yellows

I think even the loyalist of savage fans will find it hard not to agree with George. Savage does have a habit of winding players up. I remember watching one of the first Birmingham derbies after the vlues got promotion to the premiership about five years ago. Where he wound up doin dublin enough for him to headbut him right on the touch line and then shout down the skysports camera "he's a cheat." I found it hillarious! I wouldn't take that out of Robbie's play because he is good at doing it.
