Zurab : No Choice But To Let Ince Go

Zurab Khizanishvilli, Blackburn's most underrated player, has today been giving his thoughts on Paul Ince and the great Tugay.

Zurab feels the club had no choice but to get rid of Paul Ince as manager but feels the time is right for Sam to pick up the slack and haul us out of the mess we are in.

Zurab, speaking to the Sun said, 'I feel sorry for Paul Ince,'

'But when you look that we have just three wins in 17 games you have to say that the club made the right decision in changing the manager.

'When Ince came in the summer nobody expected us to be in this position.

'We won't get relegated. We aren't even thinking about going down.

'We have 21 games still to play. We are all thinking of forward and we have some good professionals at this club.'

Khizanishvili also praised the idea to give Tugay a role in Big Sam's backroom staff.

Zurab continued, 'I would like to see Tugay in any role with this club. He's a fantastic player, he's the maestro,'

'Every football club needs a Tugay. Not only is he a great player, he is a great person too.'

I think a player/coach role for Tugay is very much on the cards. As for Ince, the 48 since his departure has shown the apathy the players had not for him as a person, but for his methods.

Im sorry, but i dont think any player has the right to say that the club was right to let ince go. If that was the case, then all the players should be let go. SUre Ince had some shocking tactics, but the players have had some disgusting performances also. Time to lift your game boys
sasman
I agree Sasman - some individual performances have been of a very poor standard. Pointing the finger at Ince and thinking now everything will be ok is not the right message - the players need to up their game too. Also, I think Tugay should be rewarded with a coaching role if that is what he would like to do when he retires or semi retires. I think we owe it to him for his service to the club.

We owe Tugay a lot, he has what not a lot of players have nowadays - loyalty.

im in agreement with sasman ince had to go!!!!!!! but the point is the players have to be accountable they have been very poor all season and have not deserved any better than what they have got, each one of those players need to look at each other in the eyes and decide if they are up for the fight if not they should ship out

Spot on lads, its gonna be a test of character, and i wont be surprised to see a few signings come in, and some regulars sitting on the bench
sasman
The maestro deserves a role, for his loyalty if nothing else (but he has quality of course!!!)
