'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Robbie Annoyed To See Red

Robbie Savage felt slightly aggreived to have been sent off on saturday as he felt niether decisions were worhty of a booking.

'It was going to happen one day,' admitted Savage to BBC Radio Lancashire.. 'Chris Foy will go down in the record books.

'Maybe I've been lucky in the past in my time with Crewe, Leicester and Birmingham that after being booked I've then made tackles that might have been second yellows.

'For the first I won the ball cleanly. Yes, my trailing leg caught Boateng but that was my momentum carrying me through.'

However it was the second decision which annoyed savage the most.

'It definitely hit me on the arm but he [Boateng] has pinged it from five yards, I'm turning and my arms are by my side.

'Mark Viduka handled the ball more blatant than I did later in the game, yet nothing was done. It's unbelievable,'

Seems a bit savage to me.

How has savage never been sent off before, he is one of the Premiership's dirtiest players of all time. Except for Dennis Wise, Roy Keane, patrick Viera, Danny Mill, Vinnie Jones, ok, 6th dirtiest player of all time

As a player Savage is hardly the most likeable. You could say same about viera and keane though and they are two of the best midfielders of this generation
