Dunny Will Not Be Rushed Back

David Dunn will not be rushed back into the Rovers squad even though results recently have been worse than expected.

Dunn was immense for rovers before picking up an injury that has ruled him out ever since the Hull game at home.

Paul Ince feels that rushing him back won't help the tema or David himself in the long run.

Speaking to Rovers world, Incey said, 'I don't want to put any pressure on Dunny,' he told the club's official website.

'He's started running, so we are getting close, but it could be another four or five weeks.

'We are optimistic. He is a key player for us and I think we saw that at the start of the season against Everton.

'He gives us something that no-one else has got and those players are worth their weight in gold, so hopefully he'll be back in four or five weeks.'

Kind of makes sense. We have seen it before with players like David Thompson, you bring them back before they are ready (cough Santa Cruz cough) and they get injured again.

It helps no-one in the long run.

When David is fit and ready to play again, I think we can all say we will be delighted as we are a poorer side without him in it.

When we do get Dunny back we are going to be so much better off for it. Fantastic player - shame he cant stay fit though!

Both Dunny and Stephen Reid have been really missed this season so far. What I fail to understand is why young Alan Judge hasn't been given his chance. We are crying out for his talents. It seems nonsense that we have such a glaring weakness since Bents left and we have this wonderful young prospect already at the club. Can anybody explain it to me ?
nut all
because alan judge is being prepared for big things.... i do not know, haha, he shud be in ther now, at least in and around the squad.... id never heard of that haworth guy and judge wasnt even in the squad...... baffles me too nut all!

What about Andy Howarth? He has recently been exposed to first team action and put in a good shift! Both Dunny and Reid are the two strong guys in the middle and it is obvious we miss them.
