Trip To Old Trafford The "Reward"

Blackburn Rovers' "reward" for advancing into the Quarter-Finals of the Carling Cup is a trip to Old Trafford to face Manchester United.

The hope of facing fierce rivals Burnley has been taken away with them facing Arsenal, so we'll just have to hope that we can overcome Man United and maybe the chance of a "dream" Carling Cup Final could be in the offing?!?! Stoke City entertain Derby County and the other Championship representative Watford entertain current holders Tottenham Hotspur. A repeat of the Worthington Cup Final from a few years back when we beat Tottenham is also still on.

The Quarter-Final will be played the week commencing the 1st of December.

thats the hardest draw you could have had........but if you beat them.......you will be well on the way to winning the cup.....

Look at it this way guys - is it better to play them in the quarters or the semis? Quarters all the way - one match, weakened side, anything can happen. However, Spurs, Man U and Arsenal all kept apart in the draw? Funny how that happens....
