Johnson joins Darlington

Darlington have completed the signing of Blackburn striker Jemal Johnson on a month's loan.

The striker had previously turned down a move to the North East but after only making two substitute appearances this season has agreed to join the League Two side.

Darlington boss David Hodgson told the BBC: 'I first tried to sign Jemal two years ago and failed, then again last season and also this season but failed.'

It seems it was a case fourth time lucky then!

Did Hodgson not realise there are 10's of thousands of players that would willingly take up the offer to play for Darlington
