Rovers Agree To Extend Griffiths' Loan

Blackburn Rovers have agreed to extend the loan spell of Rostyn Griffiths to League Two side Accrington Stanley.

The young Australian midfielder has been on loan with Accrington for the past month (and he has made four appearances) and has now seen this deal extended by another month until 8th of November. The final day of Griffiths' loan is on FA Cup First Round day, but it is not yet known if Rovers will give the 20-year-old permission to feature for Stanley, however, I would expect this will be granted as he isn't likely to feature for us in the FA Cup this season (if any season for Rovers?!?!) is he!!!

Good luck to the dude, I'll still be VERY surprised if he ever makes the breakthrough at Ewood Park but the loan won't do him any harm regardless.
