Nolan Goes To PNE On Loan

Rovers today have allowed local neighbours Preston to take promising defender Eddie Nolan on a three month loan till the new year.

Eddie has made a first team appearance for the Ewood Wizards in the UEFA Cup game against Nancy a couple of years back has been a consistent performer for the reserves for a couple of years now.

Nolan is comfortable at right back as well as centre back.

So this looks like a good move, he's unlikely at present to get a game for a few months due to Rovers strong defensive options, he wouldn't need to move (you would think) and he will be playing in a strong division.

Good stuff.
