The Right Result - Newcastle v Blackburn

NEWCASTLE UNITED v BLACKBURN ROVERS - Crazier, yet crazier

Saturday 27 September 2008

Just when you thought you`d seen everything at St James Park, Newcastle United go and lose a game they should have won. On the day that Joe Kinnear made his unlikely arrival on Tyneside, the Toon slipped to another defeat. Except, two incidents could have changed a 1-2 defeat into a 2-1 win. Firstly, Christopher Samba`s opening goal should have been disallowed for offside so maintaining Blackburn Rovers` 100% record of a Right Result ruling in each of their away games this season. Then, in the second-half, Newcastle should have had a second penalty when Rovers defender Martin Olsson leapt high to handle a Toon cross.

The Right Result is a 2-1 win to Newcastle United.

Where do people get these ideas from!? Not one Newcastle player complained about offside, so they were of the opinion it wasn't. Granted, Olssen handled the ball, but there is no way of saying whether the penalty taker would have scored. Grrrrr, at this silliness...

And lets ignore the fact it wasn't a penalty that they did get (debatable at best) Right result my arse!

got to admit - your start to the season has pleasantly surprised me!

Yeah there actual peno was very soft and where is the mention about the shove on Santa that would appear to be just as bad if not worse than the one against Owen! Joke
roversman
There PENALTY was given due to the crowd forcing and screaming. Newcastle fans angry at not getting one a minute ago..had that been given the soft Dive of Owen would have been laughed off..ONE THINGS ROVERS FANS MUST LEARN ..SCREAMM

I cant even begin to describe what is wrong with this...

We shout for penalties as well, but we dont have 40,000+ fans, maybe we should move to Surrey and pick up some stray Man United fans?
