Ladies show the men how its done!!!!!!

The Ladies are back, and back with style. With an easy first round draw against Rotherham from the Northern Division, the ladies were expected to dominate. Captain Natalie Preston lead the way, scoring 2 goals in the first 20 minutes, getting the Rovers away to a flier.

Rovers lead was pegged back to one through a goal by Clare Needham, however the 2 goal lead was restored as Nicki Harding scored just before the break.

Goals in the second half by Emma McDougall (x2), Kerri Longstone (Rotherham) and Katie Anderton (x2) ensured Rovers got their cup competition of to a flier, 7-2 Victory.

Hopefully this win will give the ladies a morale boost, after a slow start to the league competition.

Well done ladies, keep it up
