Rovers Man of the Match v West Ham

Vital Blackburn's most recent poll (these Man of the Match polls now take place in the forum) asked, "Rovers Man of the Match v West Ham?" We voted Jason Roberts.

Not for the first time this season (and again convincingly) with 5 votes (71.43%) most believed Roberts should've been awarded the Man of the Match Award for his performance in our 4-1 defeat against West Ham last Saturday. JR beat Andre Ooijer and Keith Andrews into joint-second, with their 1 vote (14.29%) each.

The rest were the same as each other with no one else standing out from the rest, as they all gained 0 votes (0%) each!!!

So in summary
P Robinson - 0 Votes - [0%]
A Ooijer - 1 Votes - [14.29%]
C Samba - 0 Votes - [0%]
R Nelsen - 0 Votes - [0%]
S Warnock - 0 Votes - [0%]
B Emerton - 0 Votes - [0%]
S Reid - 0 Votes - [0%]
V Grella - 0 Votes - [0%]
MG Pedersen - 0 Votes - [0%]
R Santa Cruz - 0 Votes - [0%]
J Roberts - 5 Votes - [71.43%]
M Derbyshire (Sub 29mins) - 0 Votes - [0%]
K Andrews (Sub 45mins) - 1 Votes - [14.29%]
K Treacy (Sub 66mins) - 0 Votes - [0%]

Not so many voters this time unfortunately, however, I still think that the right man in JR did pick up this Award. JR is having a superb season, and long may this continue!!!
Walker
Yeah, he's showing some good form of late... keep it up JR - and maybe a little penalty practice wouldn't go a miss either!

To be fair it wasnt that bad of a penalty! Good save me reckons. Majority rules and Roberts is a deserved winner.
MikeyGamst
ye roberts dersevered it the miss pen was disapointin tho

I personally thought it was a poor penalty, but he still had a superb match, and has started the season brilliantly.
Walker
Does a similar job to Heskey.....if he could finish then he'd prob be playing for one of the top four clubs cos iv never seen anyone cause mayhem like him!!! Still think he is a better option comin on as a sub when defenders are tired and can be bullied by him!!

Have to say it was a poor pen, probably tried the eyes and screwed up, we do need a penalty taker for when RSC is not on the pitch. Surely gamst/pedersen/whateverhisnameisnowadays could do this?
