Andrews Having Blackburn Medical

Milton Keynes Dons captain Keith Andrews is undergoing a medical at Blackburn ahead of a proposed move to Ewood Park this afternoon.

The fee is likely to be around the £ 1 million mark but no official figure has been given yet.

The midfielder was named the League Two Player of the Year last season after inspiring the Dons to promotion and would add another midfielder to the ranks at Ewood.

Andrews has been linked with a switch to Rovers for a while now, with the ex-manager/ex-player link refusing to go away.

The 27-year-old now looks set to join Blackburn in the next 24 hours.

Time will tell whether this will be a good move for Rovers but Paul Ince definitely thinks he can cut it at this level and for one will agree with what he says as the signings he has made so far have been good.

While you are it Paul, please sign another right winger.

I'll disagree we don't need him, he certainly isn't better than what we have now. It's not like he is a young lad in league 2 he is a 27 year old and if he was good enough he would be in th premiership long ago. bad move and bad waste of money.

I think he will be handy to have around, Tugay cannot play every game, The Axe will prob be away in African Nations Duty, Reid as good as he is hasnt the best fitness record and Emerton willplay more on the rite, which leaves Vogel ( is he injured or wot?? ) Grella ( his 1st season in Premier League ) and Dunn. I think its because no one has heard of him and the fact that he's coming from MK Dons - but when u think that players like Barton are considered good enuff, whos to say that he wont be. He may prove to a steal for Rovers as i think he scores goals and i dont care wot league ur in a midfielder that chips in with goals is a handy as **** thing to have

Really not sure but our positive start to the season means i trust Incey a bit more.....surely means the end for 1 or 2 of our central midfielders....Vogul and the axe are my predicted leavers!!!!

At least one surely has to leave, trying to keep all the players happy will be tough.

mixed emotions on this 1, but got to give him a chance, personaly i cant see anyone leavin now, but i did see somewere on iternet that everton are trackin steven reid???

I can see Vogel leaving... I dont think he'll get a fair crack at moment.

another central midfielder?????? hmmmmm. where is our right winger? we just gonna assume now that it'll be emerton on wing with ooijer/simpson behind him? you know, someone mentioned to me earlier that blackburn are one the clubs supposedly lining up a move for henrik larsson and fowler wont be coming. very peculiar indeed.
RyanRover9495
We have tried to get Larrson before... It has just been confirmed on Rovers official website. Andrews is a Rover.

Can't be Reid to go!!! Everton have just signed our cast off Segundo Castillo.......lets hope that one doesn't come back to haunt us!! Gotta be honest boys, i woulda spent bigger on a central midfield general and left the right wing to Emo who wont let us down. He can always cover this position with Reid and a real "General" would have helped us no end!!!

Didn't want him but now signed might as well given a chance, don't see him being better than any of our other players in that position, a Wolves reject... payed a fair bit for a league two player as well. Hopefully he will get one chance and only plays if he deserves it not because Ince likes him.
