Vince Grella Signed!!!

Blackburn Rovers have officially announced this evening that they have agreed the signing of Australian International Vincenzo Grella on a 4 year deal from Torino.

Is it Sasman's birthday? Who knows. All we do know is that Rovers have secured their 3rd signing of the summer.

Grella, 29 in October has put pen to paper on a four year deal. Further details are due.

Good signing lads, lets not hold our breath for the other half of the sasman "make a wish and hope it comes true" club, as Palermo want nearly 10 million for him!

Great signing is what we needed as Hughes didn't fancey Vogel, so hopefully will do the business wonder if he will play tomorow?
roverjoy
better than axe ..but can he run like he used to.. good fiery player much needed position..
oztheman
Good, hope he can get some tackles in and add a bit of mettle into the midfield and provide a good foil for David Dunn.

i can see him and dunn being pretty good together and now with vogel and reidy in there too i think the axe will probably leave. i still feel we need a right winger though and also have emerton at right back again as his pace and strength make him really hard work for attackers. remember when he droped back into right back against city because petrovs pace was too much for zurab??
RyanRover9495
tbh i perfer vogel i fink he is quality but i will giv him a fair chance cus he may be beta gd luck:)

Make sure you well and truly beat the Cods.

Is Emo loosing his position as Sasman's favorite? LOL

Sounds like a great signing....i don't think that he really fancies the Axe or Vogul. He now has Dunny, Reid, Grella and Tugay for these positions and i'm not sure that the other two will feature...........AND the Andrews rumours continue to rumble on!!!! Urrrggghhh

WOOT WOOT WOOT WOOT WOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!! My dream is coming true!!!!!! now for bresciano!!!! guys trust me, this guy is awesome, will work fantastic with emerton, great job ince!!!! he has been scouting these pages for a year and a a ahlf now
sasman
I'm pleased that this deal has gone through, we were badly in need of someone to fill the role of defensive midfielder. Mokoena is not good enough to play for us and Reid has'nt impressed me when he's taken up this position either. Well done Incey!!!
spinaker7081
I just hope that he lives up to your billing Sas, or I'll be after your head LOL!
Walker
Being serious though, this is a good move and one that I'm sure we'll be looking back on as a superb one in a few months time. Nice one Incey!!!
Walker
Agreed - Good luck Vince and welcome!

God you do realise guys if he plays well we'll never hear the end of it!!!
MikeyGamst
well, if that happens, ill gently remind him that it was Bresciano he really wanted, Grella was the obligatory ginger hanger on that got tagged into it!
BomBom
Bresciano will follow in 6 months buddy, grella is a legend, welcome aboard, and welcome back bommy, see its a feeling around blackburn, when a great talent signs on, another great talent comes crawling back
