Ali Al-Habsi Not Going To Rovers

Blackburn Rovers manager Paul Ince has confirmed that he wants to sign another two players but Ali Al-Habsi won't be one of them.

The Bolton Wanderers goalkeeper (who is in the final year of his contract) was looking like being Bolton's number one this season, but after Jussi Jaaskelainen decided to sign a new long-term contract the 26-year-old doesn't look as if he will be able to feature that often at the Reebok Stadium. The Oman International's agent Peter Harrison (who we know well!!!) had told skysports.com that Al-Habsi was attracting plenty of interest.

The Official Blackburn Rovers Website has confirmed that an approach was made to Bolton to bring him in as back-up for Paul Robinson, however, as we were told he wasn't for sell we've dropped an interest.

I'm not sure why we are looking to buy another goalkeeper anyway as we don't exactly have a shortage of them do we!!!

Whats wrong with Jason Brown, Frank Fielding and the on loan Gunnar Nielsen? I know they are young but they are hardly bad are they? Ince - concentrate on the midfield....

I'm not sure boys, this guy came in for Jaaskelinan last year and was better than him!!! If you ask most of the Bolton fans the same question they would agree with this....perhaps Ince is already a little worried with what he sees in Robinson??????

Still think we need cover at LB and a super RW.
