Bellamy Arrested

Blackburn striker Craig Bellamy has been arrested by Cardiff police in connection with an alleged assault on a 19 year old woman.

Bellamy attended Cardiff police voluntarily on Monday to answer questions over an incident which occured at the Number 10 Nightclub in Cardiff in February.

The alleged victim complained of suffering bruising to her arm and neck. Bellamy has been released on bail. His agent Steve Horner told the BBC

'Craig Bellamy voluntarily attended a police station regarding an incident a few weeks ago.

'He has been released without charge whilst police carry out further inquiries.'
