Rovers Target CAN Leave On Loan!!!

Reported Blackburn Rovers transfer target (in the media anyway!!!) Nikola Zigic has been told that he CAN leave Valencia on loan.

It was understood that Rovers wanted the Serbian striker but only in a loan move, which was something the Spanish club were unwilling to do. However, the Primera Liga clubs President Fernando Gomez has now confirmed that they will in fact allow him to depart on loan, which could interest Rovers (and others!!!)

Gomez told Levante newspaper: "I expect a decision in a few days.

"We offer the chance to go on loan to any of the interested English clubs.
"

Stoke City were understood to be close to a deal earlier in the summer with it also reported that Aston Villa also had an interest, with Everton also claimed to now be in the running.

Meanwhile as well as having Jordi Lopez on trial at Ewood, we have seen Ohad Levita join him.

Midfielder Lopez is a free agent after leaving Real Mallorca and is joined on trial by Israeli Under-21 International Levita, who is a goalkeeper that is currently contracted to Hapoel Kfar Saba.

Personally I still remain unconvinced by Zigic, but will of course give him a chance IF we sign him (that is if we are even interested?!?!) Giving players trials is something that Sparky used to do to great success; it is good to see Incey carrying on this tradition.

i honetly believe sell Benni Mac for 9 mill, loan this guy for the year, if he does well, buy him, after 6 months, if not, then what have we lost, and in the mean time, look for another striker
sasman
does any1 think this guy is any good?
kendog
got a solid header, as well as being a good target man, can hold the ball up well

WHY ANOTHER STRIKER??
oztheman
he is a crouch mayb a bit *****ter tho

Dont rate this guy at all. The few times i have seen him play he has been distinctly average. Even if Benni had a bad season he would still score than this clown. If we do have to buy another striker then it has to be Mcfadden.

Would be an OK signing, not much more than that though seems to lack mobility and would he be an ideal partner for Santa Cruz? The cry out is for a right winger, lets get that one sorted first.

Why arent we in the running for Jimmy Bullard is what I want to know!!!! And a right midfielder.... we dont need another striker if we are keeping (slightly overweight looking) Benni.
