'If It's Football, It's Vital'

An Interview With Vital Everton

Alright boys, girls and Bom Bom. As we all know it is the big kick off this weekend. It's Everton vs Rovers and before the big kick off I have been speaking to Joe at Vital Everton to see what he thinks about Everton's chances this season and the mighty Blue and White halves...

How do you feel the summer has gone for you at Everton?

Well, not the best in terms of transfers with no new signings as yet, and AJ going to Fulham, who is a useful player to have, not to mention the stadium plans for Kirkby being thrown into disarray.

Is it a major relief that you have held onto Mikel Arteta?

Yes, because he can create things no other Everton player can. His last season was probably his worst, but he's still got the quality.

Which one player are you hoping to sign before deadline day?

Joao Moutinho, Sporting captain. He's the number one transfer target.

Where do you feel you will finish this season?

7th. No higher than 5th.

Are there any Blackburn players you admire?

Roque Santa Cruz, best signing by any club last summer.

Are you confident David Moyes will stay at the club?

Yes, although he must be frustrated about the lack of transfer funds and it wouldn't surprise me if he moved on next summer.

Prediction for Saturday?

1-0 to the Blues, in a tight contest.

Straight to the point there Joe. On behalf of everyone at VB I extend our thanks for your time and may the best team win.

I disagree! Final score for this saturday's game: Everton 1 - B.R.'S: 2

I think Rovers could nick this one. Man for man Rovers, Everton, Villa and city are very well matched. It will come down to the managers. But with the turmoil at Everton at the moment i think we will win 1-0. I would be happy with a point though. Goodison is a tough place to go.

Good answers Joe. It'll be a tight match, but I think that Rovers can just nick it 2-1.

This game has goalfest written all over it! :-) It will be a tight 1-0 to someone.
