Rovers Among The Clubs Chasing Algerian Striker???

Reports on Skysports.com are seeing Blackburn Rovers' name crop up in connection with a move for Rafik Djebbour, along with fellow Premier League clubs Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion.

The 24-year-old scored 14 goals for his Greek club Panionios last season with a move to England being heavily mooted. Djebbour also understood to be very interested in playing in the Premier League. The early indication is (from reports in Greece) that Stoke have shown the strongest interest in the French born Algerian International.

Personally I've never even heard of him (not that this means he isn't any good of course as I don't know everything lol!) but when you see Stoke and West Brom as the other teams understood to be interested you can't help but think is he really an improvement on the strikers we have?!?! Do we even really need another striker anyway???

I might be wrong about the dude but personally I can't see this happening, and I wouldn't really want it to either I don't think. I know it's not a popular decision but I would like to see Fowler given a short-term contract, and would prefer this to this dude.

it mite, if Bennis to leave? a couple of clubs are after him and I think we mite sell him on, so we mite move for another striker, I read somewhere that Ince was unhappy about Benni's fitness! add that to the fact he had a bad season last yr and u never know! I personnally dont want Rovers to sign Fowler, not anything to do with age or sending out the wrong signals as a club but he's done nothing in the last couple of years with a championship side
Clint
Along side STOKE and WEST BROM...lol

I'd go first of all for a right winger and a CM. Glad that Rigters will gain experience in the championship.

Would be VERY unhappy with an approach. Anyone else that's brought in needs to be high profile!! This Algerian dude cant be the answer!! Spend some money Incey!!
