Mimms In Rovers Return

Bobby Mimms has returned to Blackburn Rovers to become our new goalkeeping coach.

Mimms returns to Ewood Park (where he spent six-years as a player making more than 150 appearances) from Wolverhampton Wanderers to join Paul Ince's backroom staff as the third goalkeeping coach at Ewood Park in less than two-months!!! Mimms is replacing the had been new goalkeeping coach Eric Steele who is understood to be going to Manchester United to do the same job at Old Trafford having ONLY came to Ewood last month!!!

The 44-year-old had been Wolves' goalkeeping coach since 2001 and knows Ince from his time as a player with Wolves.

Welcome back Bobby, however, it is a REAL shame for us to have lost Eric Steele already as he knows Paul Robinson very well.

Mimms's return is quite good news for you

Shame about Steele with his relationship with Robinson, but Mimms has brought through Hennessey at Wolves who is very good.

I did not like him as a player for us. Sensible Soccer had him down as Booby Mimms...

Mimms is highly reguarded in the football world so its sad to see Steele go after about 2 weeks but we have replaced him with another top coach, according to those in the know
