HDM Is No More.....Please Welcome......

HDM Is No More.....Please Welcome......

Well, its been voted on and decided. The Gaffer has a new moniker, Hughes Da Man is DEAD! Risen from the ashes, please welcome.......

WALKER, the new name for HDM!

The poll was voted on for almost a week and it was a keenly contested poll.

However the overall winner was 'WALKER' with a 36% share of the voting pie.

Trailing behind was another popular choice amongst the VBers was 'Jack Da Man' with 18% of the votes. 3rd and 4th were keenly contested with 'Williams For President' getting 11% and 'Hughes Was Da Man' getting 10%.

'Blue and White Army' rounded out the top 5 with 8% of the votes.

My personal favourite, 'DIMO' only got 6% of your votes whereas WALKER's favoured name, 'Derbs Da Man' pulled in a pathetic 1%

The entire results were as follows.

Hughes Was Da Man (HWDM) 10%

Derbs Da Man 1%

DIMO (Derbyshire Is My Offspring) 6%

Stevie Wee Wonderland 2%

Santa Da Man 5%

Williams For President 11%

Jack Da Man 18%

Blue and White Army 8%

WALKER 36%

Nelsen is God 3%

Next up on the poll is suggested by MajiRovers and asks 'How Do You Think We Will Fare With Ince?'

Time to get back to normal service then lads and lasses!

Will take some getting use to this boss. But I am sure we will. The great man is honoured... you will never have to change your name again.

Did you know that Walker is President George Bush's middle name? (I'm not trying to associate you with him, just a bit of useless trivia!)

Championship Cost Per Goal So Far In 2016/17

The end of the Championship campaign of 2016/17 is only a month and a bit away from fans across the country but as we go in to the remaining weeks of the campaign...

Positive Signs For Bennett

Bennett was positive of Blackburn being able to see off Lancashire rivals Preston heading into this game at Ewood Park after the Norwich and Fulham results.

Minor Graham Setback

Blackburn had to do without Danny Graham against Preston following the groin problem that forced him off against Fulham last week. He could return against Brighton next week.

Hugely Frustrating

Mowbray admitted Blackburn didn't start the game well against Preston but had then been the dominant side so was 'majorly disappointed' not to record a victory.
