Midfielder Of The Season

Midfielder Of The Season

With YOUR help Vital Blackburn has been trying to determine what have been the best and worst of the Blackburn Rovers 2007-2008 season.

The nominations are still be taken for other Awards, but the Vital Blackburn Awards for 2007-2008 continue to be dished out with the TUGAY AWARD FOR MIDFIELDER OF THE SEASON.

THE WINNER: DAVID BENTLEY.

When asked to simply leave the name of your Midfielder of the Season almost ALL felt David Bentley should be the Award Winner, so congratulations to Bentley!

As with this Award last year this was a unanimous decision, and again there was only EVER likely to be one winner here and this winner was Bents! He again put in performances of the very highest order, cemented his place in the senior England International squad and became a player that received even more admiring glances both at home and abroad.

At this point in time its not looking like Bents will go onto complete a hat-trick by winning this Award again at the end of this season, but unless an offer meeting Paul Ince's (and Rovers') valuation is received then he won't be going anywhere, and should this prove the case he WILL be as good as ever so maybe this hat-trick might (however unlikely) still happen?!?!

To see what people had to say on this category click here.

Thanks for voting on this, PLEASE KEEP your votes coming in for these other Awards, as there is STILL time to vote so click here for the list of categories and vote on the one(s) you want!

Next to be dished out will be the Award for the ALAN SHEARER AWARD FOR FORWARD OF THE SEASON (so keep voting!!!)

wimp2k7 - of course we'll hold on to him. He spoke today about how he will honour his contract and even take a pay cut to stay with us and he wants to get us into the champions league.
