Bradley Orr A Target For Ince?!?!

Blackburn Rovers manager Paul Ince is understood to be keeping tabs on Bristol City right-back Bradley Orr, with newspaper reports suggesting that he could become Ince's first signing since taking over at Ewood Park.

Orr, who could've been playing in the Premier League this season anyway had Bristol City not lost in the Play-Off Final to Hull City was named in the Championship Players' Select XI last season and is viewed as one of the highest rated right-backs outside of the Premier League.

With the right-back area being one that that is often viewed as one of our most problematic areas (despite Brett Emerton's best efforts, but with David Bentley's imminent departure he could need to fill his role again?) so if he has the quality maybe the 26-year-old could be the answer to our problems?

I've been concerned about Incey dipping into the Lower Leagues with his signings, but if Everton are/were interested in Orr, and he was voted into the Championships Best XI last season he must have some quality about him?!?! Would he be an improvement on Emerton, that is the real thing we need to ask???
Hughes Da Man
Just ask a BC fan they love him, I do believe we are looking at the mexican right back oosirio from stuttgart, though. He's more of a right back than emerton and is solid defensively, I don't think he's first choice though. He was one of the major reasons City did so well last year!
MajiRovers
Seriously, if we are going to dip into the lower leagues this is one of the most consistent players around. BC fans love him (as maji says) and he can keep pacce with the quickest of players. Good buy if we can get him.

If the player is good enuff then it wont matter where we got him from, look at Samba, Hertha is hardly a massive team and he wasnt getting into it, Nelsen was brought in from US and God Vogel was without a club! So i dont think that we should rule out anybody! I just hope Ince uses the old Hughes - get them in on trail - method 1st to assess them b4 wasting money
Clint
Great call Clint... lets hope he is using that method as we speak!!!!
