Best Player To Face Rovers This Season

With YOUR help Vital Blackburn has been trying to determine what have been the best and worst of the Blackburn Rovers 2007-2008 season.

The nominations are still be taken for other Awards, but the Vital Blackburn Awards for 2007-2008 continue to be dished out with the BEST PLAYER TO FACE ROVERS THIS SEASON.

THE WINNER: EDUARDO.

When asked to simply leave the name of the player you believe has been the BEST Player to face Rovers this Season most felt Eduardo should be the Award Winner, so congratulations go to him!!!

Arsenal's Croatian striker is one of the most deadly around and his goalscoring performance in the Carling Cup Quarter Final was the only reason that Arsenal eventually came though to beat us 3-2 after Extra Time for the vast majority, hence his picking up of this Award.

As everyone is well aware the Croatian International suffered one of the most horrendous leg breaks ever seen (if you saw it that was?!?!) towards the end of last season, when a former Rover Martin Taylor almost snapped his foot clean off, however, he is making a remarkable recovery and could be back again playing in no time!!! The mental and physical toughness this has taken is breathtaking, however, when he does return hopefully he will not be so lethal against us (although I suspect he will be, but we won't be the only ones who suffer his wrath!!!)

Thanks for voting on this, PLEASE KEEP your votes coming in for these other Awards, as there is STILL time to vote so click here for the list of categories and vote on the one(s) you want!

A superb striker, and the only reason that we didn't go onto the Carling Cup Semi Finals. It's also great that he is making such a good recovery, from such a horrible injury.
Hughes Da Man
a true fox in the box.

What like Franny you mean!?!?! Eduardo was the difference for Arsenal, without him we would of been in the Semis and not them.
MikeyGamst
lol dont mention him anywhere near franny lol, is franny still playin somewhere?
sasman
hence why i said a true fox in the box and not some cheap shot about Jeffers, Sheesh.
MajiRovers
proper striker! one of the best in prem 4 me, a rekon ince shud target him lol
kendog
Yeah that would be the day... lol. I honestly dont think we need another striker!
MikeyGamst
Jeffers is playing for Sheff Wed at the mo FYI but only managed 10 games through injury. Eduardo was damn near unplayable that night to be fair to him.
BomBom
Watch him rip the prem apart this year.
MajiRovers
Who? Jeffers? hahaha
BomBom
Lol Bom. Eduardo was on the way to being a dam good premiership player before injury. Expect him to be in many peoples dream teams this year.
MikeyGamst
If sheff Wed come up then he's bound to haunt us! Eduardo was finding his feet, he'll come back stronger!
