Sparky Returns To Ewood To Raid Us Further

Former Blackburn Rovers manager Mark Hughes has returned to Ewood Park to poach another two members of the backroom staff.

Hughes had already taken Mark Bowen with him to work as his Assistant Manager at Manchester City, with him now returning again to tempted Eddie Niedzwiecki and Kevin Hitchcock to the City of Manchester Stadium to again work with him. Niedzwiecki will act as a First Team Coach, with Hitchcock becoming the Goalkeeping Coach.

It is sad to see Sparky returning to Ewood again to take these with him, but this was always likely to be the case and the compensation fee we agreed with Man City would've included taking these factors into account one would suspect?

Good luck to them both, they did a superb job at Ewood but it is time for chance and I'm sure that Incey will bring in the right men to replace them, and men that he wanted anyway.

a whole new regime needed at Ewood then!

We all knew he eventually would bring his entire wales backroom staff to city. But I am a bit concerned about Ince backroom staff. There has been rumors that he would bring in his MK dons staff - i dont like that at all...

No shame Hughes had a very good backroom team partly made him sucessful in my eyes, yeah we need another good lot and Mk Dons backroom is not this.

Nor is Archie Knox IMO either, yet thats what we seem to be heading towards

You guys really think Bentley will be playing for us next year?? Doubt it.
los_angeles_villan
these 2 will be hard 2 replace! but as fot the goalkeeper coach, am sure brad doesnt need to learn from any1
kendog
This does make it easier for Ince - he gets to start with a fresh backroom staff and doesn't have to sack anyone!

Return of Tony Parkes as coach...?
Decimus Poole
Incey was the man that Williams beleives in, so we trust him right?!?! So we must ALSO trust Incey!!!

We all knew that Hughes would take these men, GOD its going to take a team close to devine to turn that City team into something good!! ( wait for the insults lol ) I think Ince will bring in the rite men and wot with Williams there i have faith as that man is Rovers through and through and i dont see him making many mistakes when it comes to the good of the team. Knox has signed and is just wot Ince needs, a man with vast experience, been there done that, Ince will learn a lot!!
