Player Most Missed This Season

Player Most Missed This Season

With YOUR help Vital Blackburn has been trying to determine what have been the best and worst of the Blackburn Rovers 2007-2008 season.

The nominations are still be taken for other Awards, but the Vital Blackburn Awards for 2007-2008 continue to be dished out with the MIKEYGAMST AWARD FOR THE PLAYER MOST MISSED THIS SEASON.

THE WINNER: MORTEN GAMST PEDERSEN.

When asked to simply leave the name of the player you feel has been MOST missed this Season (maybe injured or sold) most felt Morten Gamst Pedersen should be the Award Winner! So congratulations to Gamst Pedersen, who despite playing the whole season proved our biggest miss!!!

Normally a player that is sold, or injured for most (if not all) of a season would receive this sort of accolade, but due to his inconsistent (well POOR performances) last season MGP was seen as our biggest miss. Where has the player that everyone was raving about gone?!?! We are praying that he returns next season or I personally feel it is time for him to go, and maybe we might regret not having cashed in on him when he was flavour of the month in the past???

Thanks for voting on this, PLEASE KEEP your votes coming in for these other Awards, as there is STILL time to vote so click here for the list of categories and vote on the one(s) you want!

Its time for MGP to UP his game this season, now that Sparky has gone I wouldn't have thought he will be almost guaranteed that spot that he once did if he doesn't deliver under Incey?!?!

he still has it, he needs competition, hes cruising, there is no real threat to his place, he is too comfortable.

He was average last season - which was a shame because he can be excellent. Hopefully Ince the man-motivator will get him going again

Peter has a lot to prove I know you rate him Mikey, but I wanna see for myself to be convinced. Although he did stick it QPR, I'm just surprised Hughes did not make more off him if he's that good! Has he played for Germany at any Level???

Peter is talented but it will take more than talent to crack the premier league. MGP fully deserved this. Play up or ship out Gamst!
