According to BBC sport, the news is that Blackburn are set to announce Paul Ince as the manager.
It looks like the MK Dons manager has beaten of all competition, which included the likes of Allardyce, McClaren, Henk ten Cate, Henning Berg etc...
All the time I have sky sports news on at home and there is never any news regarding weather Blackburn have asked for permission, so this may have been kept under wraps and looks like another professional appointment by Blackburn Rovers.
Ince has done a terrific job with the clubs he has played at and managed at, hopefully this will prove to be the right appointment by Mr Williams and maybe Mr Williams will also back Paul Ince financially.
Regarding the Rovers chiefs flying out to the euros, this makes me think that there still may be another twist but the book makers have Ince as a dead cert!
Ince will need to be approved by the Premier League as Gareth Southgate did, and this should be fairly easy to get round.
So as it looks like Paul Ince will become the new Blackburn manager! All I can say is good luck!!!
