Paul Ince's blue and white army!?!?

Paul Ince's blue and white army!?!?

According to BBC sport, the news is that Blackburn are set to announce Paul Ince as the manager.

It looks like the MK Dons manager has beaten of all competition, which included the likes of Allardyce, McClaren, Henk ten Cate, Henning Berg etc...

All the time I have sky sports news on at home and there is never any news regarding weather Blackburn have asked for permission, so this may have been kept under wraps and looks like another professional appointment by Blackburn Rovers.

Ince has done a terrific job with the clubs he has played at and managed at, hopefully this will prove to be the right appointment by Mr Williams and maybe Mr Williams will also back Paul Ince financially.

Regarding the Rovers chiefs flying out to the euros, this makes me think that there still may be another twist but the book makers have Ince as a dead cert!

Ince will need to be approved by the Premier League as Gareth Southgate did, and this should be fairly easy to get round.

So as it looks like Paul Ince will become the new Blackburn manager! All I can say is good luck!!!

Thanks for reading.

Good stuff here kendog, you're getting quite into this writing articles business aren't you!!! Yeah it looks like Ince will be getting the job and I'm REALLY happy about this as I personally believe he can carry on in the same way as Sparky did, proving that his work wasn't finished and he left the club to soon. Having said that Michael Laudrup seems RIGHT in the running, and WHAT a name that would be for us at Ewood Park dudes!!!

Michael Laudrup would actually attract players to the club! If Paul Ince is installed as manager of BBR then I will suggest you will be relegated next season as his lack of managerial experience will be exposed for all to see when the going gets tough. He will be fine If they win a few its when the pressure mounts he will be found wanting.

Yeah Laudrup Ince won't be appointed today, like first thought and John W has said no one has been offered the job, so they are seeing if it is financialy viable to get Laudrup who would top draw.

Laudrup seems a VERY serious candidate now. I've backed Ince but in truth if it was between Ince or Laudrup SURELY Laudrup would have to win this battle wouldn't he?!?!

Also we would have to pay compensation to get Ince, whereas Laudrup is currently out of a job. It's hard to decide... I think it will be Ince and I will be happy with that. If it were Laudrup I would be happy too - win win situation for me!

Its Laudrup lads Williams pursued him so he has to be in front of Ince, JW went all the way to cheese land to talk him into it, ince is a gamble laudrup is not. Finances will be an issue, its one of the reasons he walked on getafe but with our current funds plus hughes and bents, Laudrup would have a war chest on par if not more than most of our rivals with Laudrup the next step beckons, he will give youth a chance and invest in it he has done so in the past! Our dreams of european football can be realised with ince I'm not so sure

The major problem with Laudrup lads and i can see it being a big sticky point is the fact he wants a get out clause in his contract stating that if a spanish club come in for him we cannot stand in his way, which could see us lose our manager in the middle of the season, which would de stabilise our club and we and certainly John Williams doesn't want that!!

Yeah agreed Durks - I'm worried about his long term prospects with us and his loyalty. And with the instability with mangaers in Spain, he could leave at any time. JW will have to put in a few clauses of his own... £10million compensation to rovers etc!

I think Ince would be a great appointment. I see him in a similar mould to Mark Hughes. Yu certainly wont see players giving less than 100% under Ince or they will soon be replaced.

Similar Manager to Hughes, would seem to be the right choice.
