Friedel's Save Of The Season

With YOUR help Vital Blackburn has been trying to determine what have been the best and worst of the Blackburn Rovers 2007-2008 season.

The nominations are still be taken for other Awards, but the Vital Blackburn Awards for 2007-2008 continue to be dished out with FRIEDEL'S SAVE OF THE SEASON.

THE WINNER: FROM JOHN O'SHEA V MANCHESTER UNITED AT EWOOD PARK

When asked to simply leave the name of the opponent (and obviously who the save was from) that you feel saw Friedel make his best save of the season most felt the save from John O'Shea v Manchester United in the 1-1 draw at Ewood Park should be the Award Winner! So congratulations to Friedel for making this save, the best of MANY saves during 2007-2008.

Bradders made save after save in that match, from a number of Man United players but finally having made the Award winning save from O'Shea Manure finally broke through from the corner that followed when Carlos Tevez headed home. The save from O'Shea was one of the best ever as he was going one way but somehow managed to react and get a hand to the effort and turn it away for the corner, sadly they equalised from that corner.

Thanks for voting on this, PLEASE KEEP your votes coming in for these other Awards, as there is STILL time to vote so click here for the list of categories and vote on the one(s) you want!

Next to be dished out will be the Award for the INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCE OF THE SEASON (so keep voting!!!)

It could've been ANY ONE of a number of saves in that match, but I personally feel that the winning O'Shea one was the best one.

I thought the Rooney 1 on 1 was the most impressive but to be fair, you couldve put all those saves on a wall and thrown a dart at it and whatever one it hit wouldve been a fantastic save, Brad was inspired that night.
BomBom
too true one of the best games I've seen him have ever. Its amazing to think he's almost 40, Long live Brad Friedel!!!
MajiRovers
hope the rumours are not true, we would certainly be fighting relegation without brad
kendog
Fear not Ken, Bradders loves Rovers and will finish his career here. As if we would contemplate selling him anyway and certainly not to Villa!!
BomBom
The rooney one was awesome... rooney used the eyes but Brad followed the ball... SUPERB. What a keeper and totally loyal to Blackburn as well. Get in.
