Best Rovers Performance Of The Season

With YOUR help Vital Blackburn has been trying to determine what have been the best and worst of the Blackburn Rovers 2007-2008 season.

The nominations are still be taken for other Awards, but the Vital Blackburn Awards for 2007-2008 continue to be dished out with the BEST ROVERS PERFORMANCE OF THE SEASON.

THE WINNER: v MANCHESTER UNITED AT EWOOD PARK

When asked to simply leave the name of the opponent against whom you feel saw Rovers give their Best Performance of the Season most felt against Manchester United should be the Award Winner.

When Man United came to Ewood Park on Saturday 19th of April 2008 VERY few expected anything, but after a superb display of resilience and some inspired goalkeeping from Brad Friedel until the 88th minute it looked as though Rovers could pull of a surprise, however, after Carlos Tevez's goal we had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Thanks for voting on this, PLEASE KEEP your votes coming in for these other Awards, as there is STILL time to vote so click here for the list of categories and vote on the one(s) you want!

Next to be dished out will be the Award for the FRIEDEL'S SAVE OF THE SEASON (so keep voting!!!)

It was a tight call but this draw with Manure JUST edged out the 5-3 win over Wigan. KEEP voting for other Awards dudes!

this game had my hooked £20 on 1-0 cruz the odds were 175-1 no one expected us to do anything, we played like champions that day.
MajiRovers
True maji would have been a nice bit of winnings 4 you though mate
kendog
We were sensational that game I agree, shame we couldnt hold out for 3 more minutes but I guess thats football

It was still an awesome day, after all the abuse all week about 5-0's was so satisfying to go into work!
MajiRovers
United almost paid for their arrogance and complacency. Its a shame we didnt hold out but maji is right... we played like Champions that day.

And I think HDM means the game we won 3-1 at home to Wigan, we were down to ten men and still were the best team.
