Cardiff Give Up On J-Rob

Cardiff have had a second bid for Blackburn striker Jason Roberts turned down.

Championship side Cardiff had hoped to sign J-Rob during the summer transfer window, but they have been told they have virtually no chance as Rovers are not willing sellers.

Which is good news as far as I am concerned. Jason has a shot at a good first team run next season and it would be silly to go now as he had a good run at the back end of last season.

There are some that are down on Mr.Roberts due to his lack of finesse but you can't argue that having a striker with pace abd power is worht having in the Blackburn squad/team.

'It looks like Jason is staying at Blackburn now from what I have seen,' chairman Peter Ridsdale told The Cardiff Post.

Good news. Keep it coming.

Good lad Mr.Williams. Dont let him go. he is gonna be a big player next season.

A very very important player for us. Yet, I think keeping Bentley and RSC is by far more important. If we need to cash in on someone, I'd rather see MGP&JR leaving...

Sorry Mikey, gonna disagree with you here, wonder goal at bolton aside, he was woeful.
MajiRovers
I think he is a very under rated player. He is second to none at holding the ball up and bringing the midfield into play. He also never stops running plus he is capable of scoring 15 goals a season as he did at Wigan. Very very useful player to have in any squad

i thought the did well in the latter parts of last seaosn!

JR will be a key player next season in my eyes, but i strongly belive that benni mccarthy will be at his best now sparky has gone

Woeful!? Maji that is ultra harsh. His finishing wasnt great but his contribution to the team cannot be called into question.
