Player Least Missed This Season

Player Least Missed This Season

With YOUR help Vital Blackburn has been trying to determine what have been the best and worst of the Blackburn Rovers 2007-2008 season.

The nominations are still be taken for other Awards, but the Vital Blackburn Awards for 2007-2008 continue to be dished out with the PLAYER LEAST MISSED THIS SEASON.

THE WINNER: FRANCIS JEFFERS.

When asked to simply leave the name of the player you feel has been missed this LEAST this Season (injured or sold) most felt Francis Jeffers should be the Award Winner! So congratulations I suppose go to him!!!

I am sure this in not an Award ANY player would want and I do feel for Jeffers a little, however, I did vote for him!!! The former England International offered us little at Ewood Park last season, and hasn't been missed in the slightest, and hasn't really done anything elsewhere since leaving. However, he was pushed hard for this Award by former Rovers skipper Andy Todd though, who has summed up how little he was missed by the fact he has recently been released by Derby County!!!

To see what people had to say on this category click here.

Thanks for voting on this, PLEASE KEEP your votes coming in for these other Awards, as there is STILL time to vote so click here for the list of categories and vote on the one(s) you want!

Next to be dished out will be the Award for the BEST ROVERS PERFORMANCE OF THE SEASON (so keep voting!!!)

I have to feel some sympathy for Franny Jeffers. Injuries, one after another, have been really cruel to him. After he moved to Sheff Wed, he was injured again and out ror the season. I remember seeing him play for Everton Youths against us at Ewood Park - he was lethal and scored the only goal of the game. Money wouldn't buy him then. Best wishes to him.

He must have talent somewhere, Wenger is rarely wrong and neither was Hughes! Its sad to see some players who u know have something never really achieve anything in the game.

What do you mean sasman? Andy Todd did well with us. As for Jeffers, it is a shame how his injuries have blighted his career.

I appreciated the Andy Todd effort, he came in when he wasnt the best, had a good run and left at the right time. He got a good reception at ewood when Derby came as well.
