Worst Month Of The Season

With YOUR help Vital Blackburn has been trying to determine what have been the best and worst of the Blackburn Rovers 2007-2008 season.

The nominations are still be taken for other Awards, but the Vital Blackburn Awards for 2007-2008 continue to be dished out with the WORST MONTH OF THE SEASON.

THE WINNER: DECEMBER 2007.

When asked to simply leave the Month, which you feel saw Rovers have their WORST Month of the Season most felt December should be the Award Winner! So congratulations I suppose goes to December 2007, with some credit having to go to West Ham United, Wigan Athletic, Arsenal and Chelsea who played their part in making it so bad!!!

The month started so well with a 3-1 win over Newcastle United at Ewood Park, then it ALL went wrong as we lost to West Ham 1-0 at Ewood, then got spanked 5-3 against Wigan at the JJB. Arsenal came to Ewood for the Carling Cup Quarter Final and eventually left with a 3-2 Extra Time win. It was back to the Premier League and another defeat, again at Ewood, 1-0 to Chelsea. The month improved as it ended however, we went to the City of Manchester Stadium and picked up a point with a 2-2 draw with Manchester City then beat Derby County 2-1 at Pride Park.

This wasn't an Award that too many contributed towards but most that did did go for December to make it a clear winner.
