Rovers Have No Manager But Speculation Carries On

Blackburn Rovers have no manager but this doesn't mean that speculation surrounding players going, as well as apparently arriving at Ewood Park stops!!!

The departure of Mark Hughes means that LOADS of players will leave Rovers this summer as a result, that is the assumption of the media in this country anyway! Maybe this will be the case, but it isn't by any means certain. The newspapers today have added Christopher Samba to the list of players that will be leaving, with Spanish giants Sevilla allegedly ready to offer 3.5 million with new Inter Milan manager Jose Mourinho preparing a bid to take another star player David Bentley to Italy. Roque Santa Cruz remains the focus of attention for some, with Arsenal understood to be prepared to pay 12 million for the Paraguayan International, but ONLY if Emmanuel Adebayor leaves London.

However, it is not only players leaving Ewood that is being talked about!!! Despite the fact that we have no manager we are still looking to sign players, which seems strange! Djibril Cisse is one of those we are looking to sign with him confirming that he would like to return to the Premier League this summer, another is Louis Saha, who the newspapers believe will be offered as a make-weight to tempt Santa Cruz to Manchester United, along with 10 million in cash.

I can't see how ANY players can be signed until we have a manager and would ALSO hope that none will be sold (if they even have to at all!) until we at least have a new man in place as we MUST see what his plans are before anything happens surely?!?!

Well yer just shows how much of the media is rubbish, and they were people we were linked with in January just popping up again.

I think David Bentley going wont be such a harsh blow as we will get the cash for him.. an extra 15-20m to spend on someone new.. Samba if he was sold i would be gutted he is the man of our defence and we need him. santa cruz i could live with leaving if we got cisse and saha plus an extra 10m. I think we need new central midfielders so bolster out attack and out defence and have a good hold of thing in the middle if bents goes im not sure who would be in line as a worthy replacement?

absolute crud! all thats in the papers is rubbish, we dnt even have a manager and yet all these name get thrown around!!! i saw that spurs offerd 7 million and lennon n ghally! 4 bents?? well defo accept that lennon is untouchable when he got confidence!!!

Surely there should be some sanctions against such rubbish???

I think Sam Allardyce would be the best appointment for you. You already have quite a few players who will play his style of football quite well.

What the hell are you talking about?!?! "You already have quite a few players who will play his style of football quite well"

Its called trying to wind us up... however he is just a bit miffed that such a small club finished ahead of his "massive" club in the League... again. MUST TRY HARDER.
