A Thai-ght Spot At Man City It Is For Sparky

Vital Blackburn's most recent Poll, suggested by BomBom asked "Where Will Mark Hughes Be Come The First Game Of The New Season" we now know it will be Manchester City.

For a number of days it has seemed VERY clear that Mark Hughes wouldn't be our manager next season (well to me anyway, as I had accepted he WOULDN'T be at Ewood Park next season) but the question was where would it be?!?! 70% were right in thinking it would be a Thai-ght Spot At Man City after his appointment today (I wish him well but still feel it's the wrong move personally!!!)

23% thought that the lure of a return to Chelsea as Roman's New Play Thing At The Bridge would happen, but that wasn't the case. 5% were clinging to the hope that Hughes would stay at Ewood with the final 2% thinking that he would in actual fact be out of work having failed to get either job and finding his position at Ewood Park untenable.

So in summary
Still At The Mighty Rovers - 5%
In A Thai-ght Spot At Man City - 70%
Roman's New Play Thing At The Bridge - 23%
Watching It At Home With a P45 - 2%

It will certainly be a challenge for Sparky but should Thaksin Shinawatra get an itchy trigger finger again I can't see him given that much time!!!

In a sense, I hope and prey that things go well for him at Citeh. He was a fantastic Rovers Manager. I just cannot get the tiny little bitter taste from my mouth that he left a season or 2 early and hasn't finished the job he started here. Maybe there was more said and done in the background than the masses are privy to and felt he had to move on and couldn't go any further than he had taken us. Good Luck Mark, I hope for your sake that this works out for you but don't expect an easy ride when you next visit Ewood¬

He has left perhaps a season to early but it;s his choice. He won;t get an easy ride at Ewood when he comes visiting but we also need to remember what he has done here. Our club can now attract better players and ultimately a better manager because of Hughes. All we need now is for HDM to change his name....

I will NEVER be changing my name, they make take our manager but they will never take my name lol! Yeah, Sparky might get a bit of rough treatment next season but we CAN'T forget all the good he did, so I hope he is given respect.
