Worst Performance Of The Season

Worst Performance Of The Season

With YOUR help Vital Blackburn has been trying to determine what have been the best and worst of the Blackburn Rovers 2007-2008 season.

The nominations are still being taken for other Awards, but the Vital Blackburn Awards for 2007-2008 continue to be dished out with the WORST ROVERS PERFORMANCE OF THE SEASON.

THE WINNER: V LIVERPOOL AT ANFIELD (13th of April 2008)

When asked to simply leave the name of the opponent against whom you feel Rovers give their Worst Performance of the Season most felt the poor showing at Anfield in our 3-1 defeat in April was the one. So congratulations I guess go to Liverpool!

The match was there for the taking, but we didn't want it at all. You'd have thought that our season was over already that day as we played like a team that had nothing to play for, not a side that still had a real chance at the UEFA Cup!!!

To see what people had to say on this category click here.

Thanks for voting on this, PLEASE KEEP your votes coming in for these other Awards, as there is STILL time to vote so click here for the list of categories and vote on the one(s) you want!

Next to be dished out will be the Award for the WORST INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCE OF THE SEASON (so keep voting!!!)

Coventry and Larissa both ran this close, but on a day where few came out of the match with any credit this one just got the nod!!!

losing at the place where you tasted Premier League success all those years ago! Painful!

I personally went with the 4-1 Coventry game. But this is a good call. About as generic performance as we have ever served up.

Personally..I voted for another game, but since this is a democracy, I now agree! What a poor performance...hopefully, we won't see much of the same next season!

Prob not Diego... although if we're stupid enough to appoint McClaren... it could get worse!!!!
