'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Rovers Man of the Match v Birmingham

Vital Blackburn's most recent poll asked, 'Rovers Man of the Match v Birmingham City?' It was a joint decision for Roque Santa Cruz and Brett Emerton.

Brett and Roque garnered the majority of your votes for the Man of the Match Award and they couldn't be separated with both gaining 19% of the votes each. Morton Gamst Pedersen was voted a very respectable 3rd with 13%and it seems that MikeyGamst, in his efforts to prove me wrong, had been repeatedly voting for Steven Reid, who finished 4th with 11%

The rest were much the same as each other really although Stephen Warnock (9%), Tugay (8%) and Brad Friedel (7%) did stand out from the rest.

Most interestingly, was the fact that Benni McCarthy gained 1% for being on the pitch for 9 minutes, yet David Bentley, playing the full 90 minutes, received ZERO votes. Most interesting!

So, in summary.....

B Friedel 7%

Reid 11%

Samba 1%

Nelsen 1%

Warnock 9%

Bentley 0%

Emerton 19%

Vogel 4%

G Pedersen 13%

Santa Cruz 19%

Roberts 6%

Dunn (Sub 67mins) 1%

ugay (Sub 67mins) 8%

McCarthy (Sub 81mins) 1%

He has had a good season Emo and showed he is a lot more versatile than we gave him credit for at first. Good lad. Shame about the result though.
