What a signing he has turned out to be. Brilliant!!

I like the headline "roque solid" - I thought I'd seen 'em all :-) But he sure is consistent when he gets going - is it 8 goals in 8 the last eight games? Almost as good as when he got the Player of The Month Award for December (think it was december) I often wonder how this man could be in Bayern for 9 years and not score more than max. 5 goals a season - at best! Their medicalstaff most need a kick in the rear for not keeping him fit in all those years. The Bayern fans I know are really scratching their heads over him - they cant believe how good he has played. And they would really really really like to get him back :-)

Redstarman: You're right...Bayern medical staff couldn't keep Roque in shape. Here is a fun fact: Except from his last season at Bayern, Roque didn't complete any season without a major surgery or injury (3 times knee, including 2 surgeries; 2 times ankle, and lots of muscle contractures). And all of this 5 to 7 goals were score in a short period of time in wich he was terrifici..until an ijury arrived, and like that he missed tons of games with Bayern and Paraguayan national team (he even played the last world cup with an injury) and of course, if live a season more out than in the pitch, well, you loose confidence. But, since made his firts appeareance on paraguayan's professional league, anyone could notice he was a world class player, like he is showing now, because succeding in the toughest and most competitive League in the world shows so. Go Blackburn! UEFA is on our way
