Friedel Top Rovers Defender

Vital Blackburn's most recent Poll asked, "Defender/Keeper of the Month for April?" We voted in favour of Brad Friedel.

Not for this first time this season Friedel has been voted the Defender/Keeper of the Month (and by a MILE at that!) so with 59% he takes his place in the grand final shortly to determine the Vital Blackburn Player of the Month for April. Joining him will be Brett Emerton who finished runner up with 16%

Christopher Samba (9%), Stephen Warnock (9%), Ryan Nelsen (6%), Andre Ooijer (3%) & Zurab Khizanishvili (0%) completed the poll.

So in summary
Brett Emerton - 14%

It's hard to argue with Friedel but I'm not entirely convinced that Emerton was the next best in line (Sas you've been power voting again haven't you lol!)

emerton deserved that one, but i think he had 3 performances in CM next to johann, this is where i was mst impressed with him!!

True - however I thought Nelson and Samba both put in good performances as well recently... it's good seeing so many players playing well

I think Nelsen is very much back on recent evidence and I am very pleased about that. However, you have to give this month's accolade to Big Bad Brad! Well deserved.

Fully deserved, he has been magnificent this month, Manu game in particular!

Friedel is quality, I wish we could get someone half this good, we would romp league two next season if we could.
