Brad All Over

Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Brad Friedel earned himself a place in the Team of the Week in the Actim Index, the official player ratings system of the Barclays Premier League. Friedel was the top-ranked keeper after scoring 18 points in his side`s 1-0 win at Portsmouth.

It helped lift him two places to 27th overall, making him the third-ranked goalkeeper so far this season behind Liverpool`s Jose Reina (25th position) and Pompey`s David James (26th).

The trio are separated by just eight points in the race to be the Index`s number one stopper.

Roque Santa Cruz remains Rovers` highest-placed player, the striker earned 32 points at Fratton Park to take his overall total to 602 points, becoming the fifth player to break the 600-point barrier.

Analysis of all Premier League games is taking place throughout the season and the players in the Actim Index Team of the Week are:

It must have been a quiet week for keepers! I didn't think we asked BF to do that much?

You might not had won if Jamo was playing.

He kept a clean sheet against pompey, was superb against Man U - has been superb all season (as he alwya is). I would argue that Brad is the most consistent player in the league.
