Blackburn In With A Chance Of Europe

After the defeat to Everton over a week ago we asked the Blackburn fans in our poll whether or not they thought the side had blown thier chance of qualifying for Europe.

The answer among most fans is 'No' and after a win at home to Sunderland, Rovers have closed the gap. However 28% of you still feel the away defeats to Everton and West Brom will cost us, where as 15% say we never stood a realistic chance of qualifying anyway.

This weekend its Arsenal at home a game Rovers will be looking to win if they are going to get thier march for Europe back on track. With Dickov back fit Hughes has four striker to pick from we simply ask who do you think should play up front.

But, if it came down to it, would you consider applying for the Inter-Toto cup? The problem is, it's only worth entering if you're sure of winning - other you'll get a Newcastle situation. And some pretty big teams are in it, these days.

Yeah Im not sure I would want to put forward for the the inter-toto cup. It might send the wrong message to the dressing room at this stage of the season. We have to be optimistic and hope we can finish in the top 6.

I admire Blackburn. They have shown just what can be achieved with a good manager in charge. Maybe we'll get one down the Villa some time soon!
