Santa Cruz Top Rovers Forward

Vital Blackburn's most recent Poll asked, "Forward of the Month for March?" We voted in favour of Roque Santa Cruz.

With 58% of the vote Santa Cruz was AGAIN voted the Rovers Forward or the Month for March, so takes his place in the overall Player of the Month poll. Jason Roberts' 41% sees him finish as runner up to Santa Cruz, and as such he also advances to the overall Player of the Month poll, taking place now.

Matt Derbyshire (1%) & Benni McCarthy (0%) completed the poll.

So in summary
Matt Derbyshire - 1%
Benni McCarthy - 0%

I don't think you can argue that the right two made it through, but personally I'm not sure about the order in which they made it?!?!

That 1% for Matt Darbyshire definitely came from you HDM!!

He has been great for you this season. Buy of the season for me!
Fan of Blues
my vote was for Jr, unlucky
sasman
Yep - good choice, although Roberts could have stolen it too. Santa so far has been the buy of the season, as Benni was last season.
FreidelNo.1

Vintige

adrianbrfc
I voted for Roque and am not surprised to see him claim the award. Robbo has played well though!
roversman
how many goals has he scored for you
mick66owl
gotta say you got a bargain there - wanna swap him for Pizarro?
merlin
Santa Cruz , will he be with you next season??? me thinks no..
BlueAmigo
I don't think they would, Merlin!
Fan of Blues
He has scored 14 goals in 32 starts and 18 in all competitions in 38 starts. For 3m (I think) and the fact that this is his first season, I've got to say that he has been impressive!!
Fan of Blues
Yeah, he's adapted unbelievably quickly to to this league. I can really see him getting past the 20 goal mark before the end of the season.
