Bentley The New Beckham

Vital Blackburn's most recent Poll, suggested by Hughes Da Man asked "Will Bentley now take over from Beckham full time after his 100th cap?" Yes!!!

David Beckham picked up his 100th International cap in the friendly with France on Wednesday night, but having picked up this much deserved 100th cap it looks most likely that his England days will now fade away, but who will be his long-term successor? A HUGE 86% think that David Bentley is this man.

7% think that he isn't the man, with the final 7% begging to differ yet still, being of the opinion that Shaun Wright-Phillips and Aaron Lennon will have something to say about it.

So in summary
Yes - 86%
No - 7%
Wright-Phillips & Lennon will argue otherwise - 7%

The current poll, suggested by The Rovers Players is asking, "Man of the Match v Reading?"

As for what you think, cast your vote and why not have your say on the latest polls findings.

I can't see ANYONE else taking over from David Beckham than Bents, in my honest opinion ONLY Bents has the consistency for this.

Certainly don't think SWP or Lennon will hold down that place. They're not good enough with their technical ability. But I have a strange feeling that Capello isn't done with Beckham just yet.

I am AMAZED he didnt start on Wed but now with Becks 100 cap out of the way he can now pick based on form/ablity and not sentiment. Go Bentley Boy!

I wish the media would stop comparing him to beckham though... they are different players, and this constant comparison only adds pressure to his game
