Rovers Man of the Match v Wigan

Rovers Man of the Match v Wigan

Vital Blackburn's most recent poll asked, "Rovers Man of the Match v Wigan Athletic?" We voted David Bentley.

Bentley picked up the Man of the Match Award against Wigan, deservingly so (and ONCE again this season). His 37% saw him claim the Award JUST, by the smallest of margins ahead of Roque Santa Cruz (36%).

The rest were much the same as each other, although Brad Friedel (6%) did stand out from the others.

So in summary
B Friedel - 6%
A Ooijer - 2%
C Samba - 0%
Z Khizanishvili - 0%
S Warnock- 4%
D Bentley - 37%
S Reid - 3%
D Dunn- 2%
M G Pedersen - 2%
R Santa Cruz - 36%
J Roberts - 2%
Tugay (Sub 78mins) - 2%
A Mokoena (Sub 84mins) - 1%
B McCarthy (Sub 89mins) - 3%

The current poll, suggested by Hughes Da Man is asking "Will Bentley now take over from Beckham full time after his 100th cap?"

As for what you think, cast your vote and why not have your say on the latest polls findings.

Absolutely - I think it was his best game all season, would have been perfect if he had scored.

Great performance by the team capped by Bents and Roques individual brilliance. Bents deserves this.

Also I think he's the most improved player too. The change from last season to his levels now has been superb. I'm glad now he had that break instead of the under 21s tournament - which at first I thought was a mistake.

No major suprise here. He was the best player on the pitch and the main reason we won.
