Rovers To Fight The FA!!!

Blackburn Rovers chairman John Williams has confirmed that Rovers WILL be challenging the Football Association after the misconduct charge brought against the club.

With BOTH Newcastle United and Rovers players involved in brawl during Rovers' 1-0 win over Newcastle at St James' Park on 1st March ONLY Rovers have been called up on this misconduct charge, something which Williams is seething about as we have been singled out, with Newcastle escaping unpunished!!! So Williams WILL be challenging this with the FA before the 25th of March deadline date for an appeal.

Williams told the Lancashire Telegraph: "We are disappointed with the decision and will be contesting it vigorously."

It is right that we feel aggrieved, I just hope that they (the FA) don't make an example of us for challenging this, we ALL know how they can be!!!

Well if they thought the Aliadiere appeal was "frivolous", I think you're walking a tightrope. But it's worth the appeal because it is a joke.

I would back you completely on this one, but be warned. The Football Association simply don't do common sense.

Quite right to challenge it!! The FA will no doubt slap a huge fine on us and ban all our players for 4 matches, but hey ho!! WHAT A JOKE OF AN ORGANISATION

I'm glad we're fighting this because, as you guys have all said it is a joke. The FA have lost all sense and to try to punish only rovers, who were the victim of the asault is just madness. I think we should all send leeters to the FA asking for their resignation on grounds of competence.

Too friggin right we'll fight it.

although be wary of the 100% accurate comment made by boro 01!!!!
