Player of the Month (February)

Vital Blackburn's most recent Poll asked you "Player of the Month for February?" We voted in favour of Brad Friedel.

After tying the Goalkeeper/Defender of the Month poll with Brett Emerton, Friedel scoops the overall Player of the Month poll also with 42%, this saw him narrowly edge out David Dunn who finished as the runner-up with 30%.

The rest were much the same as each other, although Morten Gamst Pedersen (12%) did stand out from the rest to finish third.

So in summary
David Dunn - 30%
Brett Emerton - 8%
Brad Friedel - 42%
Benni McCarthy - 4%
Morten Gamst Pedersen - 12%
Roque Santa Cruz - 4%

With the Player of the Month for February out of the way, the Goal of the Month for February will now take place as the current poll, inspired by The Rovers Players is asking, "What was Februarys Top Goal?"

As for what you think, cast your vote and why not have your say on the latest polls findings.

Friedel is as consistent as they come, his performance against Newcastle ALONE was enough to see him earn this.

Cant deny him this one. He certainly was the best Rovers' player of February... excellent against Arsenal and Bolton.

Oh and the Geordies... I knew I had missed one!!! However that was technically in March.
MikeyGamst
Yeah it was, but it probably helped sway the vote even more in his favour didn't it.
Hughes Da Man
lol ya it got my vote, but he has been excellent, then again we are use to it aye
sasman
good to see his brilliance isnt taken for granted!!!
MikeyGamst
It's strange but we are used to Brad being superb for us... we'll realise just how good he is when he retires and we have to replace him.
FreidelNo.1
He is good - getting on a bit now but as a keeper I reckon he's got at least 3 years left at the top quality.
The_Legend_Of_Zola
I'd love if he did & I reckon he could even go for 4, there's some players you just never want to see retire!!
spinaker7081
spot on lads, dont no what we will do when bradders and tuggers retire
sasman
and he is worth it as he is a great player we'd take him at Loftus road
